At Dhingra Orthodontics, we use the most up-to-date orthodontic technologies, with the best bonding materials to avoid excessive bond failure. Our use of 3D X-rays result in precise treatment planning, and our iTero® digital scanning lets patients avoid taking the dreaded impressions. All of this, plus our advanced braces options, makes Dhingra Orthodontics the best place to achieve your new smile!
Regardless of which treatment option you choose, you’ll need to visit our Springfield, Beavercreek, or Bellefontaine orthodontic office for adjustments and progress monitoring. If you choose metal or clear braces, you’ll visit us at four to eight week intervals. Invisalign patients can extend their visits to every four to 12 weeks.
Traditional Metal Braces
Metal braces are the most commonly thought of form of braces. They align the teeth by putting pressure via brackets and wires. Metal braces use ligatures to attach the wire to the bracket; these ligatures come in dozens of colors for you to choose from at each visit.
Clear Braces
Clear braces offer a more aesthetic form of orthodontic treatment, as they are far less noticeable than metal brackets. The brackets are clear and we use clear wires and pearl ligatures to give them a sleek and almost invisible look.
Invisalign® Clear Aligners
Clear aligner treatment uses clear attachments (buttons) that are bonded to your teeth and clear aligners that you will wear 24/7 and change weekly to straighten your teeth. With clear aligners, you have more control with your diet; there are no food restrictions because you can take them out to eat. They also give you the freedom to brush and floss your teeth normally. Aligners are totally clear—people won’t even know you are wearing them!
The most important thing to remember about clear aligners treatment is that if the aligners aren’t in your mouth, they’re not working! Compliance is key!
