Your Invisalign Treatment Plan
It will all start with a consultation appointment, the good news is, this is completely free to you. At your first consultation we want to get to know you and your smile. This way we can verify that Invisalign is an option that will work for you and your specific needs. We will be happy to answer any questions you have about Invisalign and how the process will look.
From there, we will create your individualized treatment plan. We will be able to give you a pretty accurate ballpark of how long the treatment will take and map out exactly how your teeth will move through the course of treatment.
How do we do it? Well, remember when you were young and had to get those giant messy molds of your teeth? We won’t be doing any of that! Through the digital scanning process we are able to get digital images of your mouth and teeth that function in the same way those old messy molds used to.
These digital images will then be used to create your clear aligners, using Invisalign’s comfortable SmartTrack® material. These aligners are what you will need to wear 20-22 hours a day over the course of your treatment. But don’t worry, you can take them out when you need to eat, drink, or brush and flush your teeth. The option to remove your aligners when needed allows your teeth straightening process fit easily into your lifestyle.
You may be instructed to move onto a new set of aligners as often as every week, but will only have to come into the office closer to every 6 weeks. At office visits we will track your progress as you get closer and closer to your dream smile through Invisalign.
