Your Initial Orthodontic Consolation
It begins with a little bit of your history. We review your dental and medical forms. While there aren’t many medical red flags in the world of orthodontics, it never hurts to check.
Next, we’ll perform an oral exam. This includes a visual inspection, along with x-rays to determine where your currently at and what treatments will work best. Once we know that, we’ll explain the options available and start to form a plan based on your situation.
We’ll also discuss the correlating financial information, including insurance options and available payment plans.
Once you’ve decided how you would like to proceed, we can begin the actual treatment.
What happens next can depend on the type of treatment you’ve chosen. If you’ve chosen traditional bracket braces, you’ll have them applied to your teeth. This typically takes about an hour. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure it’s a comfortable experience for you.
If you’re receiving Invisalign, we’ll scan and create a 3D model of your teeth. This will be used to create the different sets of trays you’ll be switching between during your treatment.
